Obituary of Diana Reyes
Our beloved Diana Reyes, age 59, resident of Austin, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 21, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Frank Paul Reyes.
Diana is survived by her parents, Pete Jr. and Josephine Reyes; her daughter, Aunchelle Monique Weeks and husband, Michael; her grandchildren, Madison and Michaela Weeks; her siblings, Pete Reyes III, Angelica Reyes, and Kathleen Reyes and spouse Lori Reyes; her niece and goddaughter, Ariana Rodela; her ex-husband & dedicated co-parent, Gary Savercool, and many more loving family and friends.
Diana proudly served her Country in the United States Airforce and continued her service working for & retiring from the United States Postal Service. Her dedication to serving her Country included many accomplishments such as serving as President for the National Association of Postal Supervisors.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to Sta. Julia Catholic Church in honor of Diana. Donations can be mailed to Sta. Julia at 3010 Lyons Rd. Austin, TX 78702.
Visitation will be held Monday, November 30, 2020 from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin Texas, 78702.
Interment at Assumption Cemetery is private in-person to immediate family only. The family greatly appreciates your support and understanding during this most difficult time.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
