Obituary of Joaquin Corral Garcia

Nuestro amado Joaquin Corral, de 78 años, fue llamado a nuestro Padre Celestial el sábado 14 de noviembre de 2020. A Joaquin le anteceden en la muerte sus poadres, Domingo Corral y Maria De La Luz Garcia; su hermanos, Leondardo y Tomas Corral. 

A Joaquin le sobreviven se esposa durante 55 años, Ofelia Cortez Corral; sus hijos, Joaquin Corral Cortez y su esposa, Anna Maria, Nora Margarita Corral Cortez y su esposo, Federico Flores, y Jorge Luis Corral Cortez; sus hermanos, Ofelia Corral, y Jesus Robert Corral; sus nietos, Joaquin Corall, Jorge Corral, Carlos Flores, Luis Corral, Brandon Flores, Orlando Corral, Jacquelin Flores, Anna Corral, Oziel Corral, y Sarahi Corral; sus bisnietos, Mario Corral, Elijah Flores, Valeria Corral, y Jospeh Corral, y numerosas otros familiares y amigos. 

Las visitas pübllicas se llevarán a cabo de 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. el viernes 20 de noviembre de 2020, en Mission Funeral Home -East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78702

Santa misa de Requiem se llevara a cabo de las 10:00 a.m. el sabado 21 de novienbre de 2020, en St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd., Austin, Texas 78702

Entierro a seguir en Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH-35, Austin, Texas 78704

Debido a las restricciones de Coronavirus / COVID-19 de la ciudad de Austin,

los niveles de capacidad están restringidos en las funerarias, iglesias y cementerios.

Cada persona que ingrese a la funeraria, la iglesia y el cementerio deberá usar una máscara.

y practicar el distanciamiento social de 6 pies o más. Si está enfermo o le preocupa el virus,

se recomienda que no asista a los servicios.

Our beloved Joaquin Corral, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 14, 2020. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Domingo Corral and Maria De La Luz Garcia; his brothers, Leonardo and Tomas Corral. 

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Ofelia Cortez Corral; his children, Joaquin Corral Cortez and wife, Anna Maria, Nora Margarita Corral Cortez and husband, Federico Flores, and Jorge Luis Corral Cortez; his 10 grandchildren: Joaquin Corral, Jorge Corral, Carlos Flores, Luis Corral, Brandon Flores, Orlando Corral, Jacquelin Flores, Anna Corral, Oziel Corral, and Sarahi Corral; his 4 great-grandchildren: Mario Corral, Elijah Flores, Valeria Corral, and Joseph Corral; his siblings, Ofelia Corral and Jesus Robert Corral, and many other loving family and friends. 

Visitation will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home -East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas 78702

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., at St. Julia Catholic Church, 3010 Lyons Rd., Austin, Texas 78702

Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S IH-35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas 78704

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
