Obituary of Josefina Enriquez

Our Beloved Josefina Enriquez, age 98, of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, November 14, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jose Enriquez; parents, Amado Zuniga and Fidencia Perez; children, Josefina Enriquez, Laura Cruz; daughter-in-law, Esther Enriquez; grandson Jamie Luna Jr.; siblings, Jose Zuniga, Angel Zuniga, Alberto Zuniga, Elena Montoya, and Carmen Zuniga.

Josefina is survived by her children, Angel (Lillian) Enriquez, Jose (Rose Marie) Enriquez, Arturo (Virgilia) Enriquez, Jorge (Martha) Enriquez, Felipe Enriquez, Juan (Beatrice) Enriquez, Martin (Rosalia) Enriquez, Romelia (Jamie) Luna, Martha Enriquez and husband Juan Rocha, Alejandro (Maria) Enriquez; siblings, Pedro Zuniga, Conception Torres; over twenty grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; as well as numerous loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. First St. Austin, Texas, 78745. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, November 19, 2020, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 10000 David Moore Dr. Austin, Texas, 78748. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
