Michele, the Garza Family, the Roel Family, relatives and friends of Virgilio Roel. My deepest condolences on the loss of your father, grandfather and great grandfather. Virgilio Roel leaving this world is certainly a great loss not just to the Mexican American Community, but to all who came into contact with him. The work he accomplished for himself was an accomplishment for all of us. He will be missed by so many, especially his family members. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Roel and upon doing so, I could sense his humility, his intelligence and his caring for all. Knowing his politics leads me to believe he is celebrating in heaven with the likes of those who have gone before him. May Virgilio Roel rest in peace and may perpetual light shine upon him.
