Obituary of Guy Anthony Gonzales Sr.

Our Beloved Guy Anthony Gonzales Sr., age 49, of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, November 6th, 2020.

Guy is survived by his longtime partner, Christina Esparza; parents, Pablo and Linda Garcia Gonzales; children, Brandon and wife, Jessica Burch, Francisco Gonzales, Michaela Gonzales, Guy Jr. and wife, Maria Gonzales, Marie and husband, Curtis Bridges; grandchildren, Madie Burch, Owen Burch, Layla MacNeil, and Iysis Bridges; siblings, Paul and wife Anna Gonzales, Shannon Gail Gonzales, Beth Ann and husband, John Thorpe, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 11, 2020, with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home Serenity Chapel, 6204 S. 1st St. Austin, TX. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, November 12, 2020, at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave. Austin, TX. Interment to follow Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.
