Obituary of Domingo Degollado

Our beloved Domingo Degollado, age 97, resident of Austin, Texas, was born into Eternal Life on Friday, November 6, 2020. He is reunited with his parents, Teodolo Degollado and Leonides Ruiz; his brother, Juan "John" Degollado; and his sister, Agustina Ramirez. 

Domingo leaves behind his wife of 60 years, Isabell  Rocha Degollado; his children, Francisca Degollado, Petra Perez, Hilaria Gonzales, Gloria Rendon, Josefina Degollado, and Mary Esther Flores; his nine grandchildren, Raven Gonzales, Angelica Gonzales, Sandra Duran (Enrique Duran, II), Jr. Perez, Mary Ester Soto, Rachael, Annette, Rosie, and Bobby; his 26 great-grandchildren, including Victoria Gonzales, Angelica Mendez, Gregorio Mendez, Michael Ray Arriaga, Marcelino Arriaga, Francesca Duran, Magdalene Duran, and, Enrique Duran, III; and several great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, other family members, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will take place the following morning, Friday, November 13, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Drive, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin, 

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
