Obituary of Mary Rodriguez

Our beloved Mary Rodriguez, age 75, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 5, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix S. Rodriguez Jr.; her children, Joseph Rodriguez, Felix B. Rodriguez III, Lucia Rodriguez, and Madonna Rodriguez; her grandson, Felix Rodriguez IV, and her parents, Willie Besa and Maria Blandino Besa; her brothers, Sammy Besa and Billy Besa.

Mary is survived by her children, Christina Tovar and her husband, John Eric, Angelo Rodriguez, Trinidad "Trini" Rodirguez, Christopher Rodriguez and his wife, Cheri, Dominic Rodriguez, Mary Rodriguez, Celestina Roberts and her husband, Matthew, Bernadette Rodriguez, Moses Rodriguez, Basil Rodriguez, Joshua Rodriguez, Noah Rodriguez, Noel Rodriguez and his wife, Melissa, Seth Rodriguez, Simeon Rodriguez, and Abraham Rodriguez; her brother, Raymond Besa; 24 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 10, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austion, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, Robert T. Martinez St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
