Obituary of Julianna Monique Espinoza

Our Beloved Julianna “Juju” Monique Espinoza, age 13, of Del Valle, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father on Thursday, October 29, 2020.  Julianna passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family.

Julianna is survived by her parents, Valentina "Veronica" and her husband, Roy Cervantes, Michael Espinoza Sr. and his wife, Magdalena "Maggie" Martinez; grandparents, Elvira and Antonio Gonzales, Diane and Charlie Ontiveros, Daniel and Sylvia Cervantes, Diane Martinez and her husband, Joe Reyna; siblings, Michael Espinoza Jr., Dominque Espinoza, Angel Rocha, Damien Rocha, Julian Espinoza, Isaac Espinoza, Sean Martinez, Anthony Posada and his wife, Giselle, Abriele Cervantes, Alexandra Cervantes, Aden Cervantes, Jacob Cervantes; aunts and uncles, Antonio Gonzales Jr. and his wife, Maria, Sara Rivera and her husband, David, Rose Smith, Mark Sigala, Alexandara Salazar and her husband, Oscar, Timothy Zapata, Joanna Espinoza, Tasha Mora and her husband, Angel, Sr., Albert Diaz and his wife, Angie, Lisa Cervantes Luna and husband, Andy, Joe Robert Cervantes, and many other loving cousins, family members and friends.  

Pallbearers will be Antonio Gonzalez Jr., Mark Sigala, Anthony Posada, Sean Martinez, Joshua Mora and Bobby Cervantes. Honorary Pallbearers will be Julian Espinoza and Damien Rocha.

A Special thank you to Juju's care team and staff at Dell Childern's Hospital; Dr.Virginia Harrod and staff at Childern's Blood and Cancer Center; Dr. Stephen Brown, radiation therpists Denise, Dana, Julie and Sonia at the front desk of Austin Cancer Center; Dr. Ann Case and nurse Rebecca, Dr. Yip and Jones with Pallitave Care. Thank you all for the wonderful care you have all provided for our sweet Juju. 

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m.. Tuesday, November 3, 2020; with Recitation of the Holy Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Funeral Services will begin at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 4, 2020, also at Mission Funeral Home - South Side.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas. Services will be live-streamed. Please see link below for information on accessing live-stream.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
