To all the family, I just happen to see this Obituary and when I saw the name I knew it was the Popo that my dear high school friend, Annette loved so much. I am so sadden to see, but rejoice that God is a Faithful God and Jim was also a faithful man! Minnie, Annette, Marissa and the rest of your growing family, know that you all will be added to my prayers as you continue to grieve and celebrate his life. He was always so so good to us all, as Annette's friends, many times and memories we shared at their house on Holly Street! Thank you for all the great memories. May perpetual light shine upon him. Thank you. Yes he is in a better place. And in no more pain. I really wished that my grandmother would’ve put the obituary on the Sunday before the services. Maybe we could’ve caught up with each other. But may god be with you and your family. I heard that your dad had passed as well. And i’m sorry for your loss as well.

Jim Chapa worked with us for 21years out here at the Austin Country Fleamarket! Everyone loved him including the customers. He had the kindest heart and would do anything for all his kids and grandkids. He will be greatly missed by all of us.

I love my Popo with all of my heart. I want to thank you for the photos. I want to remember him that way. He was a good and hard working man and if he hadn’t gotten ill he would still be working. That’s just who he was. R.I.P. Popo see you later ❤️

Sending my love and my condolences to my dearest great grandma who just lost her husband. Both of you always took great care of us as children and always did your best for us even being miles and miles away. I’ll never forget you & you will FOREVER be in our hearts. Momo my deepest condolences. Popo is with Angels in Heaven now and is watching over you and the boys. My heart ache as well , as for you I know yours is more heartbroken than anyone.
