Jimmy was a wonderful person.. I worked with him for 4 years. Everyday he would come into my classroom and tell me, " Miss Bro! I miss you!" I would tell him you just saw me and he would say, " Naw Miss, you never know what is gonna happen." Looking back at this memory it makes me smile. I will always remember him walking into my class smiling. There was not a mean bone in that boys body and he was always in my classroom....even when he wasn't supposed to be here. He always wanted cookies when he came in. I baked him cookies at least once a week so he would have some when he came by. I remember him telling me one day when I commented on how nice he looked when he started dressing up. He said, " Yeah Miss Bro, you can catch a lot of flies with honey, but you can catch a lot of honeys being fly." He always had a way of making people smile even though he made you want to pull your hair out with his random comments. When he met my daughter, his freshman year, he fell in puppy love with her. He would ask me how his "son" was doing even though he wasn't the boys dad. He would joke about it and say he was her new baby daddy even though he wasn't. It would drive her crazy! I would laugh about it. typing this makes me smile. I wish I could have gone to say my final good byes. He will forever be in my heart and every time I walk into my lab I will see him sitting in the kitchen asking for cookies. I will miss you Jimmy.

Jimmy was a true blessing to everyone that knew him at Manor High School and Manor Senior High School. He embodied the spirit and character of our very best students as he worked toward graduation. Jimmy's smile and laughter are enough to brighten anyone's day because he found a way to connect with everyone he met. Jimmy is known for his famous line, "I missed you Bro!" He is truly loved and missed.

Where to begin. I meet Jimmy almost 2yrs ago. He dated my daughter Josie. One thing I'll miss is them off hours of messages & all his funny remarks & him saying mom or momma what you doing, where my little blueberry. I considered Jimmy my son-n-law, always have & always will. He was a very respectful young man. Well behaved around me. He will be greatly missed. We love you Jimmy. Rest In Peace Mijo.
