Obituary of Frances Gonzales
Our beloved Frances Gonzales, age 75, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, October 3, 2020.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, Frances and Salvador Cantu; her sister, Mary Cantu; and her sons Tim and Sammy Villegas.
She is survived by her sons, Tito P. Villegas Jr., (Gabriela Villegas), Ted G. Villegas (Mary Jane Kistler); her son's father, Tito Villlegas Sr.; her brother, Rick Cantu; her grandchildren, Ted Villegas Jr., Tito B. Villegas III, Gabriela B. Villegas, and TimVillegas; her great grandchildren, Izayah, Izabella, Love and Madison Villegas; her nephew and nieces, Felicia Cantu (sons -Matthew and Joshua), Rick Cantu Jr., Thomas and Mary Escobedo, Chris Escobedo and Sarah Escobedo, and many other family and friends.
Frances was a loving mother since the age of sixteen; strong and caring grandmother. She was a beautician and successful business woman. Her message to her children and grandchildren: "No matter what, we will get through it". She will be reunited with her dear son Timmy in Heaven. She loved and supported her mom, dad and sister throughout their lives. She loved her aunts and uncles, and all her wonderful primos. She was well respeceted and loved throughout the family and will be dearly missed. Now it is time for our family and friends in Heaven to welcome Little Frances home. We love you and God Bless you, Mom.
Recitation of The Holy Rosary in person will be private to family only, others may participate via Livestream: Mission Funeral Home Facebook Live Mission Funeral Home - East Side at 3:00 pm. Thank you for your support and understanding.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin Texas 78702.
A Graveside service wil be held the following morning, Friday, October 9, 2020 at 10:30 a.m., at Gonzales Memorial Park Cemetery in Gonzales, Texas.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.
Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask
and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,
it is recommended that you not attend services.
The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support
during this very difficult time.
