Obituary of Jeremiah Rodriguez

Our beloved Jeremiah Rodriguez, age 29, was called to our Heavenly Father unexpectedly on Thursday, October 1, 2020.  He joins his mother and father, Reuben Gonzales and Martina "Tina" Louise Rodriguez; his uncle, Cayetano Rodriguez and aunt, Mary Carmen Rodriguez.

Jeremiah is survived by his son, Jeremiah Matthew Herrera; his siblings, Anthony Rodriguez, Meloney (David Haynes) Gonzales, Deborah (Todd) Patterson, Reuben Gonzales, Jr., Erica (Rick) Gonzales, Roxanne Castillo, Reuben Gonzales III, Christopher Gonzales, Carolyn Gonzales, and Christopher Aguera; his aunts and uncles, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

The family has provided visitation for older adults and those compromised from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas.

Public visitation will be held from 3:00-5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 10, 2020, also at the funeral home.  Private visitation will follow with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:00 p.m.  Celebration of Life will be live-streamed, see link below.  Services will conclude following the Celebration of Life.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
