Obituary of Pete S. Dominguez

Our beloved Pete S. Dominguez, Sr., age 93, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 26, 2020. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Ernestina S. Dominguez; his daughter, Esther Rositas; his parents, Senobio Porras and Guadalupe Sandoval; his step-father, Benito Dominguez; his brothers, Antonio Hernandez and Manuel Dominguez; and his sister, Victoria Hernandez.

Pete is survived by his loving children, Pete Dominguez (Ofelia) and Patricia Moreno (David); his grandchildren, Renee Trevino, David Lee Moreno, and Mark Anthony Moreno; his great-granddaughter, Chance Suffat; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends.

Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2020, with Funeral Liturgy beginning at 11:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Visitation is limited in capacity.

The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons. 

Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask

and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
