Our beloved mother Olga Vasquez Villanueva, age 68, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday February 6, 2003. Born in Laredo, Texas grew up in Saginaw, Michigan and shortly after her marriage she moved to Austin, TX. She built a full and happy life with her children, she was hard working, devoted grandmother who enjoyed music and dancing and especially a good football game. She will be greatly missed but now is at peace. Survivors include: Beloved children: Bennie A. Arredondo, Adela Arredondo, Arthuro B. Arredondo Jr., Anna Maria Luna husband John A., Jesse Raymond Villanueva, Anthony Villanueva, Irene V. Parra husband Daniel, Sabby Villanueva, Marie A. Wilson husband Robert, all of Austin, Texas. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Olga was preceded in death by her parents Antonio Vasquez and Adelita Vasquez, brother Jesse Vasquez, sister Ramona Perez, and two children: Ruth Villanueva, Peter John Villanueva. A special thanks to: Vista Care Hospice, Dr. Matthew Masters, Dr. David Garza, Dr. Victor Lipelaez, and all the nurses that attended her at St. David?s Hospital. Also a special thanks to Capitol Dialysis, Msgr: Lonnie Reyes, St. Julia Catholic Church, Mission Funeral Home and all our beloved family and friends who have given love and support. (Let not your heart be troubled; ye believe in God, believe also in me.) St. John 14:1 Recitation of rosary Sunday February 9, 2003, 7:30 P.M. at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday February 10, 2003 10:00 A.M. at St. Julia Catholic Church. MSGR: Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery. Serving, as pallbearers are her grandsons: Ray Arredondo, Isaac Guzman, Chris Guzman, Adam Arredondo, John Luna Jr. Honorary pallbearer will be David A. Luna.
