Obituary of Frank Loera, Jr.

Our Beloved Frank Loera Jr. (Nuno), age 57, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, September 12th, 2020. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Frank Loera, Sr. 

He is survived by his beloved mother, Ventura Loera and siblings, Irene Zapata (Joe), Judy Trevino (Daniel), Rosemarie Garcia, Richard Loera; and numerous nieces, nephews, and loving family and friends. Frank as we called him "Nuno" was a caring person who loved his family. He loved his mother dearly and woudl call her daily.  He loved spending time watching sports and wrestling. He was a loyal fan of the Texas Longhorns, Dallas Cowboys, and San Antonio Spurs. He loved collecting sports caps from his favorite teams.

A Prayer Service will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 11:00 am at Mission Funeral Home - East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, TX 78702. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Visitation is limited in capacity.

The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons. 

Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask

and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
