Obituary of Bisenta Vasquez

Bisenta (Chenta) Vasquez, age 73, resident of Manor was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday January 31, 2003. She is now reunited eternally with her husband, Juan Vasquez Sr., and son, Ben Vasquez.She was survived by her beloved children: Josephine Diaz of Austin, Ernestine Vasquez of Manor, Connie Vasquez of Austin, Jose Vasquez and wife Barbara of Austin, Juan Vasquez Jr. and wife Diana of Manor, Jimmy Vasquez of Manor, Santos Vasquez of Austin, Tony Vasquez and wife Melva of Pflugerville, Albert Vasquez and wife Martha of Bastrop, Adrian Vasquez and wife Kimberly of Austin, Vincent Vasquez and wife Becky of Elgin. She was also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Brandon and wife Samantha, Nadia, Kevin, Alyssa, Cody, Jayson, Christian, Maranda, Trinity, Albert Lee, KristianMarie, Meredith, Catherine and expectant grandchild, and a great grandchild Brooke-Ashley. She will also be greatly missed by all her nieces and nephews who she loved as her very own.
She was blessed with a strong faith in our blessed mother, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and was a devout member of St Joseph Catholic Church in Manor and a Guadalupana.
Her unselfish love and kindness to her family and friends is a testimony to the richness of her life. Her life was a blessing to all who had the good fortune of knowing her and she will be missed by everyone.
The family of Mrs. Vasquez would like to extend their gratitude and heartfelt thanks for their sensitive tender loving care given to their beloved mother and grandmother to: Dr. Nancy Foster, Dr. Hume, and Dr. Watkins. The family would also like to extend their gratitude to all the staff and nurses of the ICU and the 3rd and 7th floor of Seton Medical Center.
We would like to extend a very special thank you to the Villase?or family and Gilbert Cavazos of Mission Funeral Home for their compassionate and most sensitive assistance during these most difficult and trying times.
Recitation of rosary is Monday at 6:30 pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Vasquez will lie in state at 9:00 am at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Manor, Texas with Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 am with Rev. Fr. Robert Mahoney to officiate. Committal Services will follow at Manor Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are: Richard Ferrales, Ray Villalobos Jr., Joe Fred Martinez, George Sible, Jesse Velasco.
Honorary pallbearers are: Marty Martinez, Lazaro Villalobos Sr. and Guadalupe Villalobos.
