Obituary of Soledad Lombardo

Our beloved Soledad Lombardo, age 52, resident of Austin, was called by our Heavenly Father on Thursday, August 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her parents Ricardo and Dominga Hernandez; and her sister, Isabel Ramos.

She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Lombardo; her children, Victoria Lombardo, Ricardo Lombardo, Gabriel Lombardo, Jr., Angelica Lombardo, and Maria Gonzalez; eight grandchildren; her siblings, Stella Martinez, Antonio Hernandez, and Esther Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Soledad's family calls to the position of pallbearer Joe Gonzalez, Gabriel Lombardo, Gabriel Lombardo, Jr., Ricardo Lombardo, Miguel Gonzalez, Isaiah Gonzalez, Christian Gonzalez, and Nick Walker.  

Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 30, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following morning, Monday, August 31, 2020, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Julia Catholic Church, 900Tillery Street, Austin, Texas. 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Visitation is limited in capacity. Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please in order to accommodate this limitation 

The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons. 

Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask

and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
