Obituary of James Patrick Gonzalez

Our Beloved James Patrick Gonzalez, age 70, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Wednesday, August 19, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents Adolfo Gonzalez, Jr. and Lorraine Saldaña Gonzalez and siblings Adolfo Gonzalez III, Robert Gonzalez, Carolyn Kelly and his twin brother Mike.

He is survived by his nieces: Lori Gonzalez Holder (Michael), Christine Kidd (Joshua), Nicole Kelly (Gregg); his great nephew Balthazar Nuz Parker; beloved Goddaughter Kaley Evans; his cherished fur companion, Bandit; and other loving family and friends.

Capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and/or cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus, it is recommended that you not attend services. 

Please be advised that ALL guests must wear some form of face covering at all times. In addition, guests are NOT permitted to congregate in the lobby, entry, or parking lot of the Funeral Home at any time.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side.
