Obituary of Michael Anthony Candelas
On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, Michael A. Candelas Passed away at the age of 67. Michael was born on May 8, 1953, in Austin, Tx. to Amador L. Candelas and Rachel G. Guerrero.
Michael was preceded in death by his Father: Amador & Mother: Rachel, Brother: Alfred G. Candelas, Sister: Alice Candelas Tedford, Sister: Rebecca Estrada. Brother: A. C. Candelas. Brother: Paul Candelas. Brother: John Candelas. Sister: Mary Valentine. Sister: Lupe Garcia.
He is survived by brothers: Jesse Candelas, Joe Candelas, Charlie Candelas, Manuel Estrada Jr., Albert Guerrero. Sisters: Elizabeth Candelas Barber, Carolyn Candelas LaRoche, Melissa Estrada Mergl.
Our family extends our heartfelt thanks & gratitude to his extraordinary physicians, Jacqueline Lappin, MD, Satyarth Kulshrestha, MD, the outstanding staff and caregivers at St. David’s North Austin Medical Center Transplant Center & Fresenius Dialysis Centers.
Mr. Candelas will be laid to rest Saturday, November 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 South Interstate Highway 35, Austin, Texas.
The family requests that memorial donations in his honor be made to the National Kidney Foundation.
