Our beloved Genaro ?Jerry? Hernandez, age 71, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday January 12, 2003.
He was proceeded in death by parents Antonio and Herlinda Hernandez, Son John Henry Hernandez, Brothers Frank Hernandez, Raymond Hernandez and a Sister Sixta Galvan.
Survivors include Children, Mary Helen Maxson of Arizona, Jerry Anthony Hernandez of South Dakota, Alma Torres of Round Rock, TX., Jesse Ricardo Hernandez of South Dokota, Robert Quintero of Idaho, Joe Quintero of Utah and Martha Velez of Austin; beloved companion, Petra J. Perez;Brothers, Antonio ?Tony? Hernandez Jr., Joseph ?Joe? Hernandez and Candelario Hernandez all of Austin. Mr. Hernandez is also survived by a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
Recitation of rosary 7:30pm Tuesday at the Mission Funeral Home. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 1:30pm Wednesday at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Rev. Fr. J.C. Cain, OMI to officiate. Rite of Interment will follow in Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are, Jesse Ricardo Hernandez, John Michael Hernandez, Robert Quintero, Drake Valez, Joseph and Ruben Morones.
