Obituary of Margarita Olivas
Our beloved Margarita Olivas, age 71, was called home on Tuesday, August 11, 2020.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roberto and Virgina Guttierez and her brothers; Paulo and Raul Guttierez.
She is survived by her loving husband Ramiro Olivas of 48 years; her children, Ruben, Carmen, Ramiro Jr., and Rene Olivas; her siblings, Antionio, Pedro, Roberto, Hector, Saul, Jesus Manuel, Lourdes, Luz Elena, Manuela, Ramona, and Rosa Olivia Guttierez; eighteen grand-children, and two great grand-children, other family members and many friends.
Margarita was a loving mother and fighter; she battled with dialysis for the past 10 years. She loved to cook, spend time with her family and friends whom she loved dearly. We cherish her love and memories. She will be missed greatly.
Vistiaton will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with a Prayer Service beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home -East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, Texas 78702.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
Visitation is limited in capacity.
The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons.
Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you.
Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask
and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.

Nuestra querida Margarita Olivas, de 71 años, fue llamada a casa el martes 11 de agosto de 2020.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Roberto y Virgina Guttierez y sus hermanos; Paulo y Raul Guttierez.
Le sobreviven su amado esposo Ramiro Olivas durante 48 años; sus hijos Ruben, Carmen, Ramiro Jr. y Rene Olivas; sus hermanos, Antionio, Pedro, Roberto, Héctor, Saúl, Jesús Manuel, Lourdes, Luz Elena, Manuela, Ramona y Rosa Olivia Guttierez; dieciocho nietos y dos bisnietos, otros miembros de la familia y muchos amigos.
Margarita fue una madre amorosa y luchadora; ella luchó con la diálisis durante los últimos 10 años. Le encantaba cocinar, pasar tiempo con su familia y amigos a quienes amaba mucho. Apreciamos su amor y sus recuerdos. La extrañaremos mucho.
Vistiaton se llevará a cabo el sábado 15 de agosto de 2020 a partir de las 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., con un servicio de oración que comienza a las 6:00 p.m., en Mission Funeral Home-East, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St. Austin, Texas 78702.
