Obituary of David Evans Gross

Our beloved David Evans Gross, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, August 2, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Lleverino; parents, Sherman Taft Gross and Edwina Gross; his sister, Kathy Girten and his brother, George Gross.  Mr. Gross proudly served our country as a member of the United States Army.

David is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Xenia Lleverino Gross; his children, Carri Lee Gross, Christopher David Lee Gross, Lisbeth Treviño and her husband, Gerardo, Jose Felix Lleverino and his wife, Jackie, and Michael Lleverino and his wife, Eva; his brother, Ken Gross of California, and nine grandchildren.

The family of the late David E. Gross would like to thank you for your warm expressions of sympathy and kindness in their recent bereavement.  Your prayers have been a great source of comfort to us all.  May God bless each of you.

A Memorial Service and Inurnment with Military Honors has been scheduled for Mr. Gross.  The services are private to the family but will be live-streamed, to allow for participation by friends and extended family.  Please follow the link to Mission - South Side Facebook Live

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services.

during this very difficult time.
