Obituary of Frank Castruita, Jr.
It is with a heavy heart that we announce the death of our family’s Patriarch, our Father, Frank Castruita, Jr. He was called home to our Heavenly Father on July 30, 2020 at the age of 86.
He was born on April 1st, 1934 to Frank Sr. and Basilia Castruita in Austin, Texas. He graduated in 1952 from Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin, TX. He was first employed with Walter & Sign Company of Austin, TX as a professional sign painter. He then worked for the University of Texas at Austin in the Paint and Sign Shop and retired after 25 years of dedicated service.
He enjoyed spending quality time with all his family such as playing bingo, going to casinos, cooking, playing the piano and watching his favorite team sports compete. He was a true, loyal Texas Longhorn fan who also enjoyed cheering for the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. Frank will always and forever be remembered as a generous, kind, humble and loving man to all who knew him.
