Obituary of Armond Walter Prince, Sr.

Our beloved Armond "Mondo" Walter Prince, Sr., age 53, resident of Kyle, passed away in the early morning hours of Wednesday, July 22, 2020. He is preceded in death by his parents, Oscar Houston Prince, Sr., and Alice Judy Cedillo Robles; and his brother, James Ray Prince. 

Armond is survived by his wife of over 30 years, Sheana Peña Prince; his children, Alicia Maria Prince, Susan Nicole Prince Pavia, and her spouse, Corey, Armond Walter Prince, Jr., and Rebecca Ann Prince Jenkins, and her spouse, Loyd; his six precious grandchildren; his brothers, Oscar Houston Prince, Jr., and his spouse, Barbara, Jimmy Gary Prince, Joe Alfred Prince, and his spouse, Elena, and Leroy Prince; his sisters, Linda Susan Arredondo, and Michelle Diane Prince; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 8, 2020, from 3:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Eulogies beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Services for Armond will conclude at the close of the evening. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Visitation is limited in capacity. Attendees are welcome to come and go as they please in order to accommodate this limitation 

The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons. 

Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask

and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
