Obituary of Maria Tapia

Our beloved Maria De la Luz Tapia, age 51, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 19, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Ramirez Soto.

Maria is survived by her mother, Magdalena Ramirez Oviedo; her brothers, Antonio Ramirez Oviedo and his husband, J.D. Rinde, Juan Jose Ramirez and his wife, Christy, and Carlos Ramirez, Jr.; her sisters, Cynthia Ramirez and her husband, Gustavo, Petra Perez and her husband, Juan, Elicia Saucedo, Monica Cruz and her husband, Cecilio, and Maria Elena Rodriguez and her husband, Alberto, and numerous nieces, nephews as well as other loving family and friends.

Maria De la Luz Tapia was born in Laredo,  Texas. She worked in the nursing field where she was a CNA for almost 30 years. She was dedicated and very compassionate to the patients she cared for. She loved the connection she developed with her patients and used to talk about how rewarding her career was. She will be dearly missed by her siblings and family.
