Jaime and I (Nora) send our most heartfelt condolences to Josie, Eddie, Eva, and all of the family. I will always remember my friend as an exceptional person with a kind heart, a contagious smile, and a sweet and gentle spirit. He certainly left us with such amazingly beautiful memories! Going to school, marching in the band, Wednesday night band practices, Friday night football games, and all the other fun & mischievous adventures we all had as kids. Remembering how he would tell Eddie that they had to be home by 10:00 p.m. or they could get tuberculosis. Back then we believed what our parents told us and he was no exception. Then as adults, when we found ourselves in Austin, just hanging out together, going to work, getting caught downtown in a snowstorm; they are all wonderful memories. He was always such a fun friend to have around and laugh with. He was a kind and thoughtful friend, always ready to offer an encouraging word, a helping hand, or just his great companionship. There are so many stories to tell about our friend; too numerous to relate here, but I will cherish all those memories in my heart forever. Jaime and I have you in our thoughts and prayers.
