Obituary of Guadalupe Guerrero Sanchez, Jr.
On Wednesday, July 8th, 2020 Guadalupe "Junior" Sanchez Jr., 36 loving son and father of two sons passed away at the age of 36.
He was born on July 28th,1983 to Denise Marie Guerrero and Guadalupe Sanchez Sr. in Corpus Christi, Tx.
Junior was a free spirit, he brought joy and laughter to all who knew him. He was a very hard worker and that's where you could find him almost always. In his free time, Junior loved to spend time with family, read, play chess, and dance all with his dog "Chico" by his side.
He is survived by his mother Denise M. Guerrero, brother Daniel Sanchez, sister Joannie M. Sanchez and his two sons Isaiah and Micah, nieces Faith Sanchez and Ava Ramirez, as well as his grandmother Juanita L. Tindall, grandfathers Jose Mendieta Sr. & Hipolito Guerrero Jr and his many Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Junior was preceded in death by his father Guadalupe Sanchez Sr., his paternal grandparents, Eustolo and Simona Sanchez; his great-grandparents, Hipoloto, Sr & Pauline Adams Guerrero, his uncle Hipolito Guerrero III & baby cousin Alexis Nevaeh Contreras
In order to cover expenses incurred by his passing, Junior's family will be hosting a Plate Lunch Benefit this Saturday, July 18, 2020, from 11:00 a.m. until sold out at 6305 Monsanto Drive, Austin, Texas 78741. They hope to see you there!
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, beginning at 5:00 p.m., with a Celebration of Life to begin at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas.
Services for Junior will conclude at the closing of services on Wednesday evening.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
Visitation is limited in capacity.
The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons.
Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you.
Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask
and practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
