Obituary of Isabel O. Magallanes

Our beloved Isabel O. Magallanes, age 94, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, July 12, 2020.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Polo Magallanes; parents, Jose and Sofia Oyervidez; her children, Ezequiel, Jesse, Julia, Johnny, and Mary Godinez; her brothers, Fidencio, Hignio, and Hilberto Oyervidez; her sisters, Margarita, Maria, Julia, Josefia, Esperanza, and Consuelo Oyervidez; brothers-in-law, Domingo Gonzales and Juan Hernandez; daughters-in-law, Louisa Godinez and Mary Godinez, and the father of her children, Ezequiel Godinez.

Isabel is survived by her sons, Manuel Godinez, Joe (Eva) Godinez, Lupe (Sheila) Godinez, Paul (Norma) Godinez, Oscar Godinez, and Tony (Dela) Godinez; her daughters, Yolanda (Oscar) Guerra, Dora (Nick) Salazar, Janie Godinez, Gloria Godinez, and Alice Godinez; her sisters, Francez Gonzales and Manuela Hernandez, and 48 grandchildren, 127 great grandchildren, 75 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces,nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Feeder Rd., Austin, Texas.
