Obituary of Romana R. Rositas

Our Beloved Romana R. Rositas, age 96, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Monday, July 13, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 40 years, Juan Rositas; her parents, Candelario Rangel and Roberta Lara Cabarrubia; her son Johnny Rositas; and her daughter Ana Castro.

She is survived by her children: Ricardo Rositas, Roy Rositas (Noelia Escobar), Dora Ramirez (Robert), Edward Rositas (Lupe), Guadalupe Rositas (Delfina), and Julie Salinas (Louis); daughter-in-law Dora Rositas; and son-in-law Adam Castro; 22 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren; as well as numerous other loving family and friends.

All services are private.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be Live Streamed beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side on Facebook.

Services are being live-streamed to allow participcation by those who can not be present.  We advise those who want to participate via live-stream to log on to Facebook prior to the services to insure you know how to log on. You must have your own Facebook Page as well.  There is no additional staff on duty at the time of the service to help with logging on and getting connected.
