I remember dad always calling me his baby girl. I recall being the passenger of that green GMC truck. My dad was a great father. We called him Big Bear (Papa Bear) because we always knew he would protect us. My dad was a man of faith. He found peace and salvation through Jesus Christ. I have so much respect for him. And I will always love him and cherish the beautiful memories I had with him. He is now in the presence of God and he has reunited with his love ones in heaven. Thank you Jesus!

To my Acosta cousins, I am so saddened to hear about the loss of your dad. I know this must not be easy for you all after losing your mom not long ago. I will always remember "Tio Frank" and his stories he would tell me about back in the day when he was in the military. Although I did not see him too often over the years, I will always cherish the times when we were kids and we hung around with "the Acosta's". I will miss him coming into the VA with your mom for his appointments, it was always good to see them. I can just imagine them now being back together again and praising God. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers, stay strong and continue to be close siblings, you all will now have to carry on their Legacy! Love you all!!!

My Uncle Frank was my mentor when I was younger we went fishing, hunting, and even played base ball. He was a good man a great father for his family, with good moral character, and also went to Vietnam to fight for our country. We are really going to miss him

My sincere condolences to the family of My Uncle Frank. I have so many wonderful memories as a little girl following you around learning how to shoot a sling shot, shoot a BB gun and trying to climb up grandmas pear and peach trees. You were more like my big brother and I could always count on you to carry me to safety if I got stickers on my bare feet. There are many more wonderful memories I will forever hold in my heart. I’ll always remember my grandma making me pray with her when you went to Vietnam to fight for our country. Until we meet again Uncle Frank, I hold your memory in a special place in my heart. Your niece Carolyn Contreras Tellez

Uncle Frank was also my best friend in my youth. Prayers and condolences to a very beautiful family that seems to get stronger in their faith as the family creates angels for heaven. I love you Tio Frank.
