Obituary of Carlos Polanco

Our beloved Carlos Polanco, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 4, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucy B. Polanco; his siblings, Miguel Polanco, Jr. and Rachel Juarez, and his sister-in-law, Mary Polanco.

Carlos is survived by his partner of 10 years, Lupita Villarreal; his children, Sandra Carrion and her husband, Jorge, Sylvia Polanco, and Susan Polanco and her husband, Manuel Rocha; his siblings, Beatrice Taylor and her husband, Robert, John Polanco and his wife, Nelda, and Louie Polanco; 14 grand children and 18 great grandchildren (and one on the way), and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.

Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Sta. Julia Catholic Church, corner of Lyons and Tillery St., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH35 Feeder Rd., Austin, Texas.
