Obituary of Penelope Rose Winsman
Our beloved Penelope Rose Winsman, age 7 months, 28 days, received her angel wings on Sunday, June 28, 2020. She joins her grandfather, David Winsman and great grandparents, Verna Lee Winsman and Candelaria Reynero, in Heaven.
Penny is survived by her parents, David and Rose Winsman; her Godparents, Ronnie and Bryan Richter; her grandparents, Patricia and Roy Garcia and Kerry Saldaña; great grandmother, Sue Gillar; her aunts and uncles, Rebecca Lopez, Russell Garcia, Roy Garcia Jr., Randy and Candy Garcia, Ricky Dominguez, Nolan Winsman, Olivia Winsman, and Kaysi Winsman. In addition, Penny will be missed by so many cousins, other loving family, and friends.
Always remember the joy that was our beautiful courageous daughter, Penelope Rose Winsman (Penny). Penny had so much love and might in her heart. She always surprised us with her will to bounce back from difficult situations, and on May 28, 2020, she decided that it was time. She left this earth on her own terms, making sure to go peacefully in Mom and Dad’s arms early that morning.
Penny gained her white rhinestone glitter wings (her special request), then rode her white stallion unicorn onto a rainbow leading into the sky. In her favorite ball gown, tiara, and superhero cape, Penny arrived to Heaven to meet the Lord.
We grieve for our loss but celebrate what our beautiful strong Penny has given to us and to the world. She completed us, taught us what we were missing in life, and gave us true happiness, courage, strength, and bravery. Penny taught us many lessons. She made us reflect, showed us what unconditional love is, that healing is giving, acceptance, and that love heals and conquers all. Penny was a true inspiration, doing the impossible regardless of limitations placed upon her.
Penny is now free from her medical struggles, devices, wires, and meds. She can smile as much as she wants or run free into the fields of flowers. She can do the washing machine with Selena or play her pink guitar with Jimi Hendrix. She can come visit us in her garden or just lay in bed with Mom and Dad. She can be and do anything she could ever imagine.
Remember Penny as you remember beauty and happiness, music and dance, and the smell of a garden under the warm glow of the sun. She was an angel on earth and now in Heaven. We are blessed to be her parents and will continue to do many things in her name to continue her legacy.
Penny is beautiful. Penny is strong. Penny is love and now rests with the Lord in infinite happiness forever. May you rest in peace our fairytale princess, Penelope Rose Winsman. Mom and Dad will never forget you, and neither will the world. We are so proud of you and will always and forever keep your memories alive.
Services are private by invitation only. Penny's family would like to thank everyone for all of their love and support throughout this very difficult time.
