Obituary of Juanita Sanchez
Our Beloved Juanita Rodriguez Sanchez, age 88, resident of East Austin, was born into Eternal Life on Monday, June 29, 2020. She is reunited with her husband, Leopoldo Sanchez; her daughter, Sally Hernandez; her parents, Bonifacio and Josefina Rodriguez; and her siblings, Eusebio Rodriguez, Anacleto Rodriguez, Santos Villarreal, Petra Villarreal, Frances Cortez, and Sara Rodriguez.
Juanita is survived by her children, Connie Medellin, and her husband, Manuel, Juan Morin, and his former partner, Molly Morin, Braulio Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Thomas Hernandez, and his wife, Laura, Samuel Hernandez, and his wife, Jeanette, and Carmen Tejada, and her husband, Rudy; 24 precious grandchildren, 55 treasured great-grandchildren, and 7 dear great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews, many cousins and other family members, as well as countless friends.
Juanita will Lie In State on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas; the family encourages community members to pay their respects, and come and go as they please during this time. The chapel will close at 11:00 a.m., and all services thereafter are private or by invitation.
