Obituary of Enriqueta G. Galvan

Our Beloved Enriqueta G. Galvan, age 83, of Austin, Texas, was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 28, 2020.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Benjamin M. Galvan, Sr.; her daughters, Mary Ann Galvan, Rita Jo Galvan Surita, and Candida Galvan Luna; her son Victor Galvan; parents, Victor Gonzales and Candida Davila Gonzales; siblings: Abraham Gonzales, Victor D. Gonzales, and Hortencia Gonzales Arispe.

She is survived by her children: Josie Galvan Romero, Benjamin Galvan Jr., Stella Galvan, Ignacio Galvan, and Margaret Galvan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Pallbearers will be Frankie Galvan Luna Jr, Brandon Adam Galvan Luna, Marcus Xavier Galvan Luna, Paul Galvan Jr.,Christoper Paul Sergio Galvan, Ruben Romero Jr, Jeffery Romero, and Juan Rivera Arvizu.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19

Capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. If you are ill or are concerned about the virus, it is recommended that you not attend services. 

Please be advised that ALL guests must wear some form of face covering at all times. In addition, guests are NOT permitted to congregate in the lobby, entry, or parking lot of the Funeral Home at any time.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side. (Limit 120 guests. Masks are required in the Funeral Home at all times)

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. (Limit 60 Guests)

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. (Limit 60 Guests)
