Obituary of Jorge Cisneros

Our beloved Jorge Cisneros, age 61, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, June 29, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Maria Sanchez Cisneros; his grandson, Richard Cisneros, Jr.; his sisters, Mary Cisneros and Isabel Cisneros, and his brothers, Marcos Cisneros, David Cisneros, and Jimmy Cisneros.

George is survived by his father, Santiago Cisneros; his sons, Richard Cisneros and his wife, Beatrice Villanueva-Cisneros, and Daniel Cisneros and his wife, Araseli Barrientos; his grandchildren, Aryana Clanton, Angelina Cisneros, Ricardo Cisneros, Jose Cisneros, Ariel Saldivar, Leah Cisneros, and Daniel Cisneros, Jr.; his sisters, Elida Gallardo and her husband, Arthur, and Joann Cisneros; his brother, Daniel Cisneros, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.

Honored Pallbearers will be Johnny Vasquez, Richard Cisneros, Daniel Cisneros, Louis Guana, Leo Garcia, and Joe Vasquez.

Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  A Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery.

Services will be live-streamed to allow participation by those unable to attend through Facebook Live, Mission - South Side.  

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

capacity levels are restricted at funeral homes, churches, and cemeteries.

Each person entering the funeral home, church, and cemetery will be required to wear a mask

and to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.   If you are ill or are concerned about the virus,

it is recommended that you not attend services. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
