I am so sorry to learn of Bill’s passing. My sincere sympathy to his family.Bill and I first met at Poly Prep in 1954. College separated us but later we became close again both living in Manhattan during our single days. Especially memorable were the summers at the Breezy Point Surf Club where we shared a cabana and many weekend nights lounging there watching the ocean while we downed a six pack or two talking and BS’ing, before spending time at the bar there. But I also recall attending Greek Orthodox Easter mass with him. I thought it would never end. When his job brought him to Texas we lost contact except for one or two phone calls. Nevertheless the memories are strong. He was one of my earliest friends. Rest in piece Bill. Fred Angelo
