Obituary of Martin Dale Botello

Our beloved Martin "Marty" Dale Botello, age 58, resident of Killeen, Texas, and Rockford, Michigan, was born into Eternal Life on Saturday, June 20, 2020. He is reunited with his parents, Bartolo Botello and Vera Treviño; his brothers, Bartolo Botello, Jr., and Julio Botello; and his sister, Cynthia "Cindy" Cantu. 

Marty is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Barbara Cardenas Botello; his children, Gilbert Ray Botello, and his fiancee, Allie, Gabriel Botello, and his partner, Ashley Wells, Stephanie Botello, and her fiance, Chris, and Julian Botello, and his fiancee, Crystal; his precious grandchildren, Brooklyn Rayne Botello, Madison Raylynn Botello, Austin James Botello, Kaleb Bryson Botello, Emanuel Jett Botello, Zoey Queen Botello, Dylan John Botello, Christian Jacob Botello, Julian Jacob Botello, Jordan Philip Botello, Scarlett Pearl Botello, Kira Grace Botello, Lilianna May Botello, Angelina Marie Botello, Brianna Rose Botello, Eliana Cress, and one more on the way; his brothers, Joe Botello, and his wife, Stella, Jesse Botello, and Robert Botello; close family friend, Joan Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members, and many friends. 

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 2, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with a Religious Service beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. 

Services will conclude for Marty at the close of the chapel on Thursday night. 

It was Mr. Botello's wish that the dress code is kept casual and that the color black not be worn. Please keep this in mind when dressing for his services. 

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Visitation is limited in capacity.

The funeral home chapel has restricted occupancy to 50% of its maximum; about 60 persons. 

Please remember to exercise social distancing as often as possible for your safety and the safety of those around you. 

Each person entering the funeral home is required to have a mask

and use it when unable to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more. 

The family is so grateful to everyone for their understanding, love, and support

during this very difficult time.
