Obituary of Jimmy Joe Mata
Our Jimmy Joe Mata "JJ", age 33, was called to our Heavenly Father on Sunday, June 7, 2020.
He was preceded in death by his father, Santiago Mata.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elojia S. Sanchez; sister: Emma L. Vega (Marvin), Lilly Ann Mata (Jonny), Anna Marie Mata (Alejandro), Yvette Marie Mata (Cesar), and Michelle Nicole Mata; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.
Public Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 12, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home – South Side located at 6204 South First Street.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery. (Limit 60 Guests – masks are required).
