Obituary of Jesus Herrera, Sr.

Our beloved Jesus "Jesse" Herrera, age 67, was called to our Heavenly Father on Friday, June 5, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus Herrera and Librada Solis Herrera and his first wife, Linda Herrera.

Jesse is survived by his loving wife, Brenda Herrera; his children, Jesus "Jesse" Herrera, Jr. and his wife, Olivia, Joe Angel Herrera and his wife, Cindy, Jose Gonzales and his wife, Kimberly, Jason Herrera and his wife, Nereida Lira, Roseann Ruiz and her husband, Joseph, Nidia Carrasco, Nadia Villalpando and her husband, Julio, and Jessica Herrera; his sisters, Virginia Herrera and Rosario Herrera; his brothers Jaime Herrera and Javier Herrera; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and numerous loving nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Private visitation will be held from 5:00-9:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Recitation of Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday and will be live streamed to allow family and friends to participate.  See live stream link below.

Private Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at Dolores Catholic Church, 1111 Montopolis Dr., Austin, Texas.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.

Recitation of Holy Rosary will be live streamed on Wednesday beginning at 7:00 p.m.
