Obituary of Abelardo "Lalo" Ramos Sanchez
Our beloved Abelardo "Lalo" Ramos Sanchez, Sr., age 73, was called to our Heavenly Father on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo and Elidia Sanchez and his siblings, Blanca Perez, Albert Sanchez, and Robert Sanchez.
Abelardo is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Carmen Sanchez; his children, Abelardo Sanchez, Jr. and his wife, Norina, Robert Sanchez and his wife, Yvonne, Arturo Sanchez and his wife, Olga, and Virginia Lopez and her husband, David; 18 grandchildren, Lauren Bautista and her husband, Mario, Marissa Sanchez, Eliseo Sanchez, John Sanchez, Chelsea Sanchez, Jason Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, Jr., Marc Sanchez, Mariah Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, Xavier Sanchez, Angelique Sanchez, Natalia Sanchez, John Rey Sanchez, Joseph Sanchez, Christyn Perez and her husband, Adrian, and Monique Lopez; 14 great grandchildren; his sister, Marina Mojica, and many other loving family members and friends.
Honored Pallbearers will be Abel Sanchez, Robert Sanchez, David Lopez, Adrian Perez, Paulito Sanchez, Arturo Sanchez, Julian Sanchez, and Mario Bautista
Lie in State will be held from 1:00-6:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Family and friends are welcome to visit and pay their respects at their convenience during this time.
Private Family Visitation will be held from 6:00-9:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2020, also at the funeral home. A Prayer Service will begin at 7:00 p.m. on Friday and will be live streams so that those unable to attend may participate. See links below for live streaming.
A Chapel Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Mission Funeral Home - East Side. Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.
Due to the Coronavirus / COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,
Visitation, Mass, and Burial are limited in capacity.
Each person entering the funeral home, church and cemetery will be required to have a mask
and use it when unable to practice social distancing of 6 feet or more.
