Obituary of Mary Elisa Rodriguez

Our beloved Mary E. Rodriguez, age 72, was called to our Heavnly Father on Wednesday, May 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ysidro Rossett and Sara De Leon Rossett.

She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Amador Rodriguez; her daughter, Lisa Rodriguez; son-in-law, Michael Nielson; granddaughter, Destiny Nielson (Jonathan Wiley); grandson, Michael Nielson (Lindy Mendoza); great grandsons: Izaiah Cuellar, Dmitri Wiley, and Noah Wiley; brothers: Larry Rossett (Alice), Stormy Rossett (Josie), Martin Rossett, and Ray Rossett (Martha); Uncle Johnny and Aunt Isabel DeLeon, Aunt Charlene and Uncle George Vega, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in addition to a circle of dear family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 11, 2020 at St. Anthony Marie de Claret Catholic Church in Kyle, Texas. Interment will be private at Memory Lawn Cemetery in Martindale.

The Rodriguez Family would like to thank everyone for all of their thoughts and prayers, Texas Oncology, Dr. Chada, and Johnny who were amazing; as well as Hospice Austin, Jackie who was our nurse throughout it all, and Amy who is the nurse who came as our own angel at the end.

Flowers or plants may be sent to the home or in lieu of flowers, you may donate to St Jude Childrens Research Hospital in her honor.
