Obituary of Abelardo Anguiano, Sr.

Our beloved father Abelardo "Lalo" J. Anguiano, Sr. age 88, of Austin, Texas, was called to our Heavenly Father On Friday, April 24, 2020.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Eva G Anguiano, his parents Juan and Hortencia Anguiano; brothers, Gilbert Anguiano and Frank Anguiano; and sister, Grace A Gonzales.

Abelardo is survived by his children, Arthur Anguiano and his wife, Ruby, Robert Anguiano and his wife, Anabel, Idalia Gonzalez and her husband, Esteban, Armando Anguiano and his wife, Leticia, Alfredo Anguiano and his wife, Aurora, Irene Anguiano, Esther Jaimes and her husband, Celestino, Diane Anguiano, Gloria Anguiano, Joe Rene Anguiano, Dora Anguiano, Albert Anguiano and his siblings, John Anguiano, Jr. and his wife, Lupe, Alice Anguiano Walston, Pete Anguiano; 31 grandchildren, 57 great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

Private Visitation will be held Thursday, April 30, 2020 with Recitation of Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - South Side, 6204 S. First St., Austin, Texas.  Holy Rosary will be live streamed to allow those unable to attend to participate.  In advance the family greatly appreciates all of your love and support.

A private Scripture Service will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2020 also at the funeral home.  Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Austin, Texas.  The Scripture Service will be live streamed also.

Due to the Coronavirus /  COVID-19 Restrictions from the City of Austin,

Public services will NOT be held.
