Our beloved Guadalupe A. Martinez, age 97, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Sunday October 6, 2002.Mrs. Martinez was preceeded in death by her beloved Husband Espetacion Martinez, Son Doroteo Martinez and Daughter Tomasa Martinez.
She is survived by her Beloved Children; Daughters, Santos Alonzo, Refugia Rodriguez, Maria Trujillo all of Austin and Lorenza Alvarez of Idaho, Sons; Espetacion Martinez, Jr., Guadalupe Martinez and Gregorio Martinez all of Austin. She is also survived by a host of Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Recitation of rosary Tuesday 8:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Wednesday 12:00pm at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Committal Services will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers are Emilio Martinez, Tiburcio M. Alonzo, Pedro M. Vargas, Robert Vargas, Miguel Cortez and Mark Martinez.
The Alonzo and Martinez family expresses their gratitude and thanks to Carolina S. Ozuna, Tiburcio ?Boy? Alonzo and the Staff at Brackenridge Hospital ICU for their love, care and support given to our beloved Grandmother.
