Our beloved Rosa H. Gonzales, age 89, resident of Austin was called by our Heavenly Father on Friday September 27, 2002.Mrs. Gonzales was preceded in death by her first husband Fernando Martinez in 1969 and her second husband Pete Barrera Gonzales in 1995, and two brothers Pascual and Lalo Hernandez. Survivors include: Children; Charles Martinez, Alex Martinez and wife Mickey, Richard Martinez and wife Frances, Manuel Gonzales and wife Estella, Tony Gonzales and wife Leticia, Amelia Leivas and husband Tony and Esther Aguirre Slayton and husband Dan, One Brother; Rudy Hernandez and wife Rachel all of Austin. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 26 Great-Grandchildren, 9 Great-Great-Grandchildren and a host of Nieces and Nephews. Family viewing to start at 12:00pm on Sunday and Recitation of rosary at 6:30pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Monday 10:00am at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Franciscan Friars will officiate. Committal Service to follow at Assumption Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Edward G. Martinez, Richard G. Martinez, Jr., John Molis, Alex G. Martinez, Jr., Fernando G. Martinez and Michael Botello . Honorary pallbearers are Bobby Balagia, Jeremy Vasquez, Christopher Botello and Alex Martinez, III.
