Obituary of Concepcion Olguin Herrera
Our beloved Concepcion O. Herrera, age 78, was called to our Heavenly Father on Monday, April 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband Rosalio Herrera, Sr.; her parents, Octiviano Olguin and Maria Martinez Olguin, and her siblings, Trini Olguin, Jane Bela Olguin, and Octiviano Olguin, Jr.
Mrs. Herrera is survived by her loving children, Rosemary Salazar, Rosalio Herrera, Jr. and his wife, Debra, David Herrera, Frank Herrera, Elizabeth Gonzales and her husband, Alex, and Lupe Herrera; her sisters, Emma Olguin and Lupe Phillips; 21 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, and 6 great-great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, other loving family and friends.
Private Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 between the hours of 12:00-9:00 p.m. at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 E. Cesar Chavez St., Austin, Texas. Private Recitation of Holy Rosary will begin at 7:00 p.m. and will be live-streamed to allow others to particiate from home.
Recitaton of Holy Rosary will be lived streamed. Please use this link, Mission Facebook Live, at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 to participate in the services for Mrs. Herrera. In advance, the family offers a special thank you to everyone for their love and support.
In honor of Easter and the Holy Week, Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020 at San Jose Catholic Church, 2435 Oak Crest Ave., Austin, Texas. Concepcion will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Rosalio, following Mass at Assumption Cemetery, 3650 S. IH 35 Frontage Rd., Austin, Texas.
