Obituary of Andrea Alexandra Rossi
Our beloved Andrea Alexandra Rossi, age 30, tragically passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2020. She gave the gift of life to many others through organ donation, and we are grateful for her gift. She was greeted in heaven by her grandfather, Carlos Rossi, Sr.
Andrea was born September 22, 1989 in Miami, Florida. After graduating high school, she attended Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) earning a Bachelor of Fine Art degree. Her art has been exhibited in New York, Los Angeles, and Baltimore. Her work has been honored by the Society of Illustrators Student Competition in 2012 and she is known for her wildly entertaining narrative illustration style. She has been featured in New York Times, Queremos!, NYU Physicians Magazine, and many others.
She is survived by her father, Juan David Rossi, and her mother, Andriana Santamaria and her husband, Rafael; her best boy, Goose; her sisters, Sarah Panneflek and Michelle Rossi and her partner, Orlando Aguilar; her grandparents, Alicia Rossi and Gabriel and Josefina Piedrahita; her aunts and uncles, Carlos Rossi, Alexandra Rossi, Carlos Piedrahita, and Gabriel Piedrahita.
Services are pending for Andrea at this time. A Memorial Mass will be scheduled at St. Louis Catholic Church, located at 7275 SW 124 Street, Pinecrest, Florida at a later date. In advance, the family thanks you for your love and support.
