Obituary of Louis Cantu Hernandez

Our beloved Louis Cantu Hernandez, age 68, a lifelong resident of Austin, was born into Eternal Life on the morning of Thursday, March 12, 2020. He is reunited with his mother, Olga Trevino Aldrete; his sisters, Sylvia Flores, Audelia Hernandez, and Barbara Ann Castro; and his aunt, Olivia Esther Hernandez. 

Louis leaves behind his only child, Diane Renee Hernandez, and her partner, Allen Bailey; his precious grandchildren, Corey Lindsay Saucedo and Donovan Louis Bailey; his loving father, Conrad Hernandez; his siblings, Oscar Hernandez, and his wife, Elida, Cordelia "Coy" Torres, and her partner, Richard "Chief" Monreal, and Diana Coy, and her husband, Tony; his aunts and uncles, Amelia Hernandez, Olivia Guerrero - Gil, Lou Ann Lucas, Ray Hernandez, and his wife, Annie, Elena Sepeda, Juana Ojeda, Eva Tijerina, Olivia Garcia; numerous nieces, nephews, many cousins, and friends who all loved him deeply and will miss him dearly. 

Visitation will be on Monday, March 16, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m., with Recitation of the Holy Rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Mission Funeral Home - East Side, 1615 East Cesar Chavez Street, Austin, Texas. The following morning, Tuesday, March 17, 2020, Mission Funeral Home will host a Funeral Liturgy beginning at 10:00 a.m... 

Interment will follow at Assumption Cemetery.
