To Imelda's family: I was very privileged to meet Imelda since the early-mid '90s at IRS. We worked together for many years and even after we switched to different departments within the IRS, we always kept in touch.
She was a wonderful friend throughout the years, getting together after our retirements for monthly or bi-monthly lunches was always fun.
In 2017 Imelda talked me into going on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Two years later, (2019), she talked me into going on another pilgrimage to Greece to follow in the footsteps of St Paul the apostle. This time my husband joined us. More great memories.
I will always miss Imelda's humor and her friendship throughout all these years.
Rest in peace, "Meldie."
God speed!

My fondest memory of Imelda was when she was in high school and she and my Aunt Julie Talamantes would leave the house. , wearing lots of petty coats and wide belts!
We will miss her.

I met Imelda in the Fall, 2017 on a pilgrimage to Israel. She was also in my Bible study group. Imelda was a sweet lady with a gentle spirit. May she be in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ now.

And I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Write this down: Blessed are those who die in the Lord from now on. Yes, says the Spirit, they are blessed indeed, for they will rest from their hard work; for their good deeds follow them!”

I met Imelda in September, 2017 on our pilgrimage to the Holy Land. Although I have only known Imelda for two years, we were kindred spirits and texting late night buddies. She was a wonderful lady, a fun person, and sweet friend. I enjoyed her sense of humor. Our conversations, especially the ones in Jerusalem, after dinner in the lounge were especially hilarious. I miss Imelda already. May she Rest In Peace.

Imelda was a gentle and kind woman. Humility was her signature. Imelda was quick to offer help and not expect anything in return. She was truly a Light in this world and, in my opinion, continues to be a great Light in the afterlife.

Imelda was one of the most caring considerate and kind souls I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Imelda for me Was a friend, neighbor, board member and confidant.
The pleasure was truly mine having blessings of having Imelda in my life for over 18 years. She was very supportive when my dad died of cancer and she even spoke to my mother about breast cancer being that she was a survivor of that herself for over 20 years. Imelda you will be truly missed by all who have loved you. May your sweet soul be at peace knowing that all will be well here on earth.
Special thanks to Imelda‘s family, for honor her life and sharing her with all of us.
