I went to school with Merced from the 6th grade to graduation. We were part of Del Valle High School Class of 1961. MO played a trumpet solo at our graduation. I read the invocation. Merced was a good friend of my family. I recall Merced turning wrenches at Capital City OIliver on Lockhart Highway. I had a "55" chevy and so did MO. He taught me alot about mechanics. We often went to after school activities such as pancake suppers. After graduation, we often double dated. Good times playing miniture golf on Barton Springs Road. We went our ways later. I read Merced's comments in my 1961 yearbook. MO said "I will always remeber you as my high school pal"
Rest in peace, MO

It is with great regret that we learned of Mo's passing. He was always such an upbeat individual, especially when we dealt with him at work. I still remember him from our high school days. Even in his younger days just like he was at work, he was always better than the average person because of his great attitude and the way he dealt with people. He will be greatly missed on this earth, God has gained another resident in Heaven!
Our condolences go out to the family, may God bless you.

Padrino,
I am sorry I didn't get to see you one more time, to tell you how much I love you and to see that smiling face & to receive that big warm hug everytime I'd see you. That's exactly how I am going to remember you. I know grandma, grandpa, uncle Jimmy & your other siblings were happy to have you home & greeted you at the gates of heaven. Please give them my love & it's not goodbye but see you later..... rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers are with my Ojeda family.
