Our beloved Irene Hernandez Colunga, age 35, resident of Austin passed away on Monday, August 26, 2002. Born on February 12, 1967 in Houston Texas.She was preceded in death by her Father Leopoldo Hernandez, Sr., Brother Leopoldo Hernandez, Jr., Maternal Grandfather Domingo Mendoza, Sr. and Paternal Grandfather Carlos Hernandez, Sr..
Survivors include: Her Beloved Children; Brandon Rivera, Leo Candelas and Christian Colunga, her Beloved Mother; Andrea Hernandez, Sister; Renee Hernandez-Rodriguez and husband Michael, Nephew Keith Rodriguez, Niece Lauren Rodriguez Maternal Grandmother; Andrea Mendoza, Paternal Grandmother; Concepcion Hernandez, numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and many friends.
Visitation will commence at 6:00pm on Wednesday with the recitation of the rosary at 7:00pm at the Mission Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday 10:00am at St. Julia Catholic Church. Mngr. Lonnie Reyes will officiate. Committal Services to follow at Assumption Cemetery.
Honoring Irene as pallbearers will be Tony Mendoza, Jr., Eric Mendoza, Robert Martinez, Louis Hernandez, Jr., Carlos Hernandez, III and Alex Calderon, Jr..
